The short version: Cue collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no server of ours. Your library lives on your device and — if you keep sync on — in your own private iCloud. We cannot see any of it.
When you save a link, Cue stores it on your device: the URL, its title and preview details (description, image address, site name), any note you write, your tags, and app settings. That's the whole inventory.
If iCloud sync is on (it's optional — Settings → Cloud sync), the same data is stored in the private CloudKit database of your own Apple ID so your other devices can see it. Private CloudKit data is accessible only to you: not to us, and not to other users. Apple processes it to provide iCloud, under Apple's privacy terms.
Nothing. Cue has no backend, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no advertising. We have no way to know you use Cue at all.
When you save a link, your device contacts that website directly to fetch its public title and preview — the same request a browser would make. The website sees your device's IP address and a standard browser signature, just as if you had visited it. No intermediary or proxy of ours is involved, because we don't have one.
Cue is not directed at children. Regardless of age, Cue collects no data from anyone.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Given Cue's architecture, meaningful change is unlikely.
